Satya Sai Baba died at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh this morning.

''His invaluable guidance will be cherished for a life time. We love you and miss you Baba. The man who spread love and helped the needy. I had the privilege of meeting him and spending some time with him a few times,'' said Riteish Deshmukh recalling his meet with the spiritual leader.

Actor Vivek Oberoi while paying the condolences said, ''Satya Sai Baba left his human body and departed away this morning. The body is merely a vehicle. His spirit will continue to guide us as always.'' ''I remember my first out of Maharashtra show at Vishakhapatnam arranged for Satya Sai Baba's birth day. The fun and appreciation I got in that show is memorable for me in the entire life,'' said singer Abhijeet Sawant.

Ace designer Neeta Lulla said, ''Satya Sai Baba will live in our hearts forever. He blessed our lives with his love and teachings.'' Noted actor Anupam Kher added, ''Sathya Sai Baba had millions of followers all over the world. Their faith in him held them together.

May God give them strength.'' Actress Sophie Choudry who was not a devotee of spritual leader too said, ''I wasn't a follower but it always amazed me how many lives he touched.''
