Just a couple of days back there was a news article in the notorious gossip peddling tabloid, Mid-Day (by someone who goes by the name Jigar Shah), which stated that Ekta Kapoor was unhappy with the climax of 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai…Again' and had seen rushes and ordered director Milan Luthria for a reshoot. It was also been reported that Akshay Kumar feels that a reshoot is necessary etc. Balaji rubbished the contents of the said news Article, and even Akshay Kumar and Milan Luthria denied the contents of the same and termed it as false.
This news Article was published without any verification of facts and is completely baseless, devoid of merits, and published with mala-fide intention. The director of 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai…Again', Milan Luthria, termed the reports “appalling and slanderous”, the director added, “There was no verification of facts. We have initiated legal action against the publication that wrote about the rift as such pointless rumour-mongering needs to stop. We haven’t yet completed shooting, so where is the question of a reshoot? I’m very irked by such reporting.” Stating that he doesn’t need to defend himself or the film, he adds, “Those who have worked with me know that I’m an extremely strong-minded and independent director.” Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai…Again' is one of the biggest and most keenly awaited multi-starrers of the year. This is company’s third film in a row with Milan Luthria, the first two being blockbusters like ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ and ‘The Dirty Picture’
