She's made noise for her past performances in various movies like 'Brick Lane', 'Shadows of Time' and also being the 1st Indian to be nominated at the BAFTA's has not made Tannishtha Chatterjee any less hungry for doing better, which is proven in her film 'Dekh Indian Circus'.

Tannishtha, who was in New York attending the New York Film Festival, has been loved in the movie by critics who havent stopped raving about how she has left an indelible impression through her portrayal of the rural woman. Tannishtha who will be seen in films like 'Anna Karenina' with Jude Law, 'BMW', 'Gaur Hari Dastaan' as well as 'I Love NY' with Sunny Deol, is quite happy with the response.

She says, "The reactions were heart-warming and winning the best actress award is a great honour. This film has been a lovely experience and I am quite proud of the fact that I am privileged to get the opportunity to be part of such films."
