British born actor, director, writer, and choreographer Rahul Nath’s film “Compromise” is all set to hit the South Asian Film Festival in Goa week of September 15-18, alongside films by acclaimed directors Satyajit Ray and Rituporno Ghosh.
“I am expecting viewers to be shocked and satisfied with the cinema that I have created,” said Nath who currently resides in Los Angeles. “The film chronicles the lives of three struggling siblings and how the people of different social strata view them and support or take advantage of their situation. It is special to me as I wanted to exploit Indian society and how they can be loving and caring in one moment and evil and backstabbing in the next.”
Recently Nath wrapped up on Amanda Sodhi’s short film “The Dance of Death,” and is currently involved in two more projects—“Commitment,” which tells the story of a gay couple fighting the odds to be together but a tragedy pulls them apart forever, and “Glamour” which showcases the journey of trying to make it in Hollywood.
