Prateik Babbar's play 'Six' enthralls theatre lovers

Prateik Babbar's new play, Six screened at The Jeff Goldberg Studio (Mumbai), held the theatre-lovers spellbound. The versatile actor, who plays a gay character for the first time, has been well appreciated by people.

Written and directed by Jeff Goldberg with assistant director Vishal Handa, Six, based on A Midnight Clear by LB Hamilton, revolves around two former lovers, who have not seen each other in a year are thrust together once again after one is brutally attacked and raped.

In the course of an evening they rediscover their profound love for one another and why they tragically can never be together. Interestingly, the play which was showcased thrice a week in Mumbai, was appreciated so much by the people that after it was over, the viewers demanded to show it again.

Considering the overwhelming response, the play Six would be shown again the second week of September at NCPA in Mumbai.
