Though the general perception is that Farhan Akhtar's Shah Rukh Khan starrer, 'Don : The King Is Back' has predominantly been shot in Berlin, that is true. But what is also true is that the film has a lot of footage from Malaysia also.

Apart from the Malacca jail sequence, extensive 15-day shooting has also taken place in the tourist island of Langkawai too. The rainforest, speedboats and the lift form some of the important junctures in the tense proceedings.

In fact during our recent visit we came to know about many 'secrets' of the shooting from the local people involved. In fact most people we met in Langkawi are quite keen to see how it all comes on screen, this X'mas.

We have here an actual picture of the location in the rainforest, classed as a World Geopark by UNESCO for its unique geology and eco-systems, and one of the boats that SRK drives in the film!
