Manisha-- an
older-looking beauty-- and Akshaye-- the cute dimple-face newcomer. What
an odd couple! Though their acting might be suitable with each other, their looks
definately aren't!
Though one might not expect too much from the music of this film, double R (Rajesh
Roshan) has come up with some hummable numbers. "Aa Kahin Dur Chale"
is the best of these numbers. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik sing it flawlessly, though
Rajesh Roshan's music is typical but sometimes fun.
"Sine Main Sulagata Hai Dil" is a decent number
sung by Roop Kumar Rathod and Alka Yagnik-- its listenable, but not too great.
"Maine Jo Kahan" is beautifully sung by Abhijeet
and Kavita Krishanmurti. Its a light peppy number, with a few fast beats. "Mere
Doston", a well sung solo by Udit Narayan, is attractive, but not
excellent. The final song of the album isn't worth mentioning.
The album has only five songs, but Akshaye Khanna's first and only big hit (Border)
also had five songs in it . Hopefully this movie gives him the same luck.
