The producers (DMS Films and Keshu) who gave Akshay Kumar two "Khiladi" hits ("Sabse Bada Khiladi" and "Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi") are back with another "Khiladi" title starring Akshay Kumar and Juhi Chawla. "Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi" was Akshay's last big hit. Since then, he has delivered five flops ("Sapoot", "Lahoo Ke Do Rang", "Insaf", "Daava" and "Tarazu") in a row. Desperately needing a hit, will the "Khiladi" title prove lucky for him, once again?

The cassette starts out with a hummable chorus "Akela hai Mr. Khiladi, Miss Khiladi chahiye", sung well by Udit Narayan, Anuradha Paudwal and Chorus and written by Dev Kohli.

"Mujhe hero ban jane de" is a racey duet sung by Udit Narayan and Poornima and written by Dev Kohli. It is typical "Chhed chhad" song.

"Jumme ke jumme" is another fast paced "jumma chumma" song sung by Abhijeet, Poornima and chorus written by Hasrat Jaipuri. This time it is home delivery of "Chumma". Abhijeet sings, "Jumme ke jumme ghar aaya karo, us din akele rahte hain ghar aake tum chumma de jaaya karo", to which Poornima replies, "Jumme ke jumme bulaya karo, us din hum mood main rahte hain ghar bula ke tum chumma le jaaya karo". The song has very good rhythm and has a potential to be a hit with the masses.

Anu Malik, Anuradha Paudwal, Sapna Mukherjee and chorus sing "Hum total fida tum pe" written by Dev Kohli. The song has mixture of english, hindi and strange wordings but good hummable western tune. The use of english interlude, similar to "Roses are red, ... ,I love you" in this song, was tried by Anu Malik in 1996 song "Pyar kis se karen" in washout movie "Ram Aur Shyam".

Anu Malik written "Jab naukri milegi to kya hoga?" is sung by Kumar Sanu and Chorus. Surprisingly, the wordings are quite good, and lists all the things the hero will be able to get when he gets a job.

"Jab tak rahega Samose mein aaloo, tera rahoonga O meri Shaloo" written by Dev Kohli and sung by Abhijeet and Poornima is a typical David Dhawan movie song with silly wordings but with fast paced catchy tune. The style of the song reminds of several similar songs picturised by David Dhawan on Govinda and Karishma.

After composing popular music for his "Yaraana" and "Judwaa", Anu Malik has produced another album which has all the ingredients of an album for a David Dhawan directed movie.
