| No major changes in the chart, except that Pritam continues his dominance! The music composer is on a roll! After a series of releases this year, with each one of them having at least one hit song, his music is finding a wider market. Tum Mile and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani have found appreciation among classes and masses. But wait, it`s not over! One of his biggest releases from the stable of Venus (which is waiting for this one big hit for years now) is also out. De Dana Dan is a decent soundtrack, with music from Pritam, RDB and Ad Boys. They all shine in their respective songs! |

| Parde Wali Baat |
Singers: Alisha Chinoy |
Best time to listen: Anytime |
|
| Film: Marega Salaa |
| In the absence of tough competition, this Daboo Malik`s composed number finds its place in the chart mainly because of the wonderful `antra`, sensuously sung by Alisha Chinoy. |

| Film: De Dana Dan |

| If buddies like Shankar-Eshaan-Loy and Vishal-Shekhar were not around, Pritam may have bagged all the recent assignments. Still, many producers prefer him over the mentioned music directors. His experience in sound design and his ability to churn out chart-busters has made him indispensable in Bollywood. He now extends his collaboration with Venus Films. Surprisingly, the title song is composed and rendered by Ad Boys and yes, they make an impression! |

| Music: Shamir Tandon, Sharib Shabri, Toshi Shabri |
Lyrics: Sharib Toshi, Sandeep Nath, Ajay Kumar Garg, Turaz |
Audio On: T-Series |
|
| Lata Mangeshkar in the charts is becoming less and less common these days, but she does not need to prove anything anymore to anyone. This Shamir Tandon`s composition simply demonstrates that the Nightingale of India, still can conquer hearts only by her voice, compared to the current situation where sounds and production values are taking precedence. |

| Tum Mile has been in the charts since its release and this certainly shows that Pritam also creates songs, which have a longevity. Javed Ali has been given more songs this year by various composers and is proving that the selection is paying big dividends. |

| Music: Salim-Sulaiman |
Lyrics: Niranjan Iyengar, Irfan Siddiqui |
Audio On: Sony Music |
|
| Kurbaan contains songs very much different to the usual Bollywood songs. This track brings together Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal again after Blue and is definitely worth a listen. The Merchant brothers are slowly blending technology and melody well, although some of the songs can be "over-programmed". The melody of the 90`s may not come back so soon, but a smaller dose is not bad either. |

| Music: Himesh Reshammiya |
Lyrics: Subrat Sinha |
Audio On: T-Series |
|
| Why is `Mann Ka Radio` not number one? Well, the track is already a universal hit and has been greatly appreciated by Himesh Reshammiya fans. However, HImesh Bhai has not been able to capture that audience which is still not receptive to his music and style. This doesn`t matter much as his fans are larger in numbers that his critics! Go Himesh! |

| Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy |
Lyrics: Prasoon Joshi |
Audio On: T-Series |
|
| The movie may have received a mixed response as well as the soundtrack and certain people are claiming that a hit song is missing. But Bollywood can`t carry on with the same hit-formula all the time. Agreed that a hit song brings in the crowd, but not all soundtracks can be designed to be a hit. `Khanabadosh` is an interesting concept. Kudos to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for experimenting. |
