Selection based on Planet Bollywood music reviews, critical acclaim, sales figures, and overall popularity           Let us know what you think about these Top-10s

The blockbuster status of 3 Idiots have caused the songs to be extremely popular. Needless to say, they are on the lips of everyone who has liked the movie. Shantanu Moitra`s simple and fresh music, which blended so well into the narrative, has picked up at a feverish pace. The winners are Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan and lyricist Swanand Kirkire. Of course, Shantanu Moitra may get more assignments, but it`s up to him to decide if he wants to get into the rat race.

Last week saw the release of Ishqiya, which has music by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics by Gulzar. The soundtrack falls into a category, which is lapped mostly by connoisseurs of good music. If you are a Pritam fan, you will be disappointed.

Like all Ram Gopal Varma`s flicks, Rann`s soundtrack is somehow odd. The whole soundtrack is situational. However the remixes are fabulous.

The real surprise is the soundtrack of World Cup 2011, which has music by the forgotten Aadesh Shrivastava. Released by Saregama, it boasts of simple songs by Javed Ali and other talented singers. Do check it out.

# 6
Kahan Ho Bhaiya  Singers: Shankar Mahadevan  Best time to listen: Night

`Kahan Ho Bhaiya` comes as a relief among the so many noise being churned out in Bollywood. It`s a nice composition, wonderfully rendered by Shankar Mahedevan, who is heard mostly in the lower octave.

# 5

This one is a simple and light song, composed by maestro Vishal Bhardwaj, which is sure to touch music lovers` hearts. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan adds his own touch, Gulzar`s words are easy on the ears and the music is soothing. High recommended!

Tu Jo Jaan Le  Singers: Sonu Nigam  Best time to listen: Anytime
 Film: Dulha Mil Gaya
Music: Lalit Pandit, Pritam  Lyrics: Mudassar Aziz, Kumaar  Audio On:
Lalit Pandit may be not finding the success he deserves, but with this delayed movie, he may prove something. Once again, Sonu Nigam impresses in this song. Must listen!

Another unstoppable song from 3 Idiots. Thanks again to the on-screen presence of all the main characters of the movie in this song and the excellent picturization. `Aal Izz Well` is one of those situational songs, which usually picks up after the movie is released.

.... And the No.1 Recommended Song of this Week is:
# 1
Zoobi Doobi  Singers: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal  Best time to listen: Night
Film: 3 Idiots  PB Music Rating: 7.0 out of 10  Public Rating (by 400 listeners): 5.17
Music: Shantanu Moitra  Lyrics: Swanand Kirkire  Audio On: T-Series
Sonu Nigam regains the number one spot, along with Shreya Ghoshal in the immensely popular `Zoobi Doobi`. Apart from Bappi Lahiri who did a `Zooby Zooby` in 1987 with Dance Dance, no other music directors or lyricists really explored these words. `Zoobi Doobi` has a great picturization and is also well sung. Kudos to the team!
