Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is tasting success again with My Name Is Khan and all the songs have been appreciated, especially `Tere Naina`. Chirantan Bhatt, who made his debut in Mission Istanbul, makes a solid impression in Shaapit with the melodious `Ajnabi Hawaayein Bekrara Bahein`. Monty Sharma is also doing good work and produces a few good songs in Right Yaa Wrong.

Last week`s release; Prince from Tips Films came as a surprise. Music by Sachin Gupta is a complete disappointment. The composer who is behind the super-hit album `Doorie` has missed a golden opportunity. Most songs are `fast-forward` types and some of them are unbearable! Atif Aslam, who sings exclusively for Tips, will not benefit much from this soundtrack!

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge by Pritam is very unusual to his `hit-formula` music and remains situational, with `Dohe` as the nicest track.

Shamir Tandon`s Click is passable with `Rubayee More Raatoin Ke` and `Aameen Suma Aameen Suma` as the main picks.

Prem Kaa Game is another wasted opportunity for Raju Singh, who delivers a half-baked product and composes silly songs, while using talented singers like Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan. Avoid!

Aakhari Decision, which has music by Baapi-Tutul and Hanif Sheikh is a mixed bag, with `Maula Mere Maula Mere` and `Yeh Asmaan Yeh Zameen` as the interesting songs.

# 10
Hey Ya!  Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Clinton Cerejo  Best time to listen: Anytime
Film: Karthik Calling Karthik  PB Music Rating: 7.0 out of 10  Public Rating (by 401 listeners): 5.15
Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Midival Punditz  Lyrics: Javed Akhtar  Audio On: T-Series
`Hey Ya!` is the type of the song which can cheer anyone up at anytime! The catchy beats, trendy lyrics and light tempo gels well with the theme of the movie and is doing well.

# 9
Karle Mujhse Pyaar  Singers: Pritam, Rana, Soham  Best time to listen: Anytime
 Film: Toh Baat Pakki!
How can Pritam leave the chart? The `hit-machine` still has some edge in the chart, with the average `Karle Mujhse Pyaar` keeping his usual hit style and here he sings for his fans! A nice song, `honestly` composed and rendered!

# 8
Aameen Suma Aameen  Singers: Master Saleem, Shamir Tandon  Best time to listen: Anytime
 Film: Click
Shamir Tandon continues to show progress with each of his releases. From Acid Factory to the recent Click, there is a gradual improvement in his compositions. `Aameen Suma Aameen` is one of the best songs of the soundtrack!

# 7
Neeyat Kharab Hain  Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan  Best time to listen: Night
 Film: Teen Patti
Music: Salim-Sulaiman  Lyrics: Irfan Siddique, Asif Ali Beg, Ajinkya Iyer  Audio On: T-Series
Salim-Sulaiman is back with a vengeance and there is no doubt that all the songs will click. `Neeyat Kharab Hain` is a cabaret song, very much like Anu Malik`s `Dil Ho Hazar Bar` in Murder.

# 6
Kaise Jiyu  Singers: Krishna  Best time to listen: Night
 Film: Hide and Seek
Music: Chirantan Bhatt, Gourov Dasgupta  Lyrics: Various  Audio On: Moser Baer Entertainment Ltd.
`Kaise Jiyu` is a rage! Krishna has outdone himself and comes up with a superb rendition! Play it again! Recommended!

# 5
Tere Bina Jiya Na Jaye  Singers: Nazam Sheraz  Best time to listen: Morning
 Film: Shaapit
Nazam Sheraz is here to stay! That`s the second song from Shaapit which is making waves in the chart. Beautifully composed and rendered by Nazam Sheraz, the song is sure to be liked by everyone!

# 4
Cham Cham  Singers: Sonu Nigam  Best time to listen: Anytime
 Film: Striker
Music: Amit Trivedi, Shailendra Barve, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Swanand Kirkire  Lyrics: Various  Audio On: T-Series
Sonu Nigam has made the right decision to sing only a few songs and `Cham Cham` extracts the best out of him. This is Sonu Nigam at his best! Don`t miss!

# 3
Tere Naina  Singers: Shafqat Amanat Ali  Best time to listen: Anytime
Film: My Name Is Khan  PB Music Rating: 8.0 out of 10  Public Rating (by 400 listeners): 5.17
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy  Lyrics: Niranjan Iyengar  Audio On: Sony Music
`Tere Naina` is the only song from MNIK, which can have a longer lifespan, compared to the rest of the quality songs from the soundtrack. The song has the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy stamp all over it and is wonderfully sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali.

# 2
Meri Aashaon Ki  Singers: Amitraj  Best time to listen: Late night
 Film: Right Yaa Wrong
Monty Sharma bounces back in 2010 and comes up with an excellent tune in the action flick `Right Yaa Wrong`. `Meri Aashaon Ki` relies on a chilled-out background score and has a superlative performance from Amitraj.

.... And the No.1 Recommended Song of this Week is:
# 1
Ajnabi Hawaayein Bekrara Bahein  Singers: Shreya Ghoshal  Best time to listen: Late night
 Film: Shaapit
Once again, Shreya Ghoshal proves in an inimitable manner that she is leading the league of female playback singers in Bollywood. The song is a gem, with a strong composition from Chirantan Bhatt and touching lyrics from Sameer. Yes, it appears that melody is slowly making a comeback. This song is strongly recommended!!!
