We had told you that most of Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' remake will be shot in Malaysia and that the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board would extend all possible support and cooperation . Here is more .According to a report ( courtesy Shahrukhkhan.org) - " Thirty-one local talents have been picked for roles in the remake of the 1978 Hindi thriller, 'Don', top-billing Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan.
A spokesperson for the company’s Malaysian counterpart, Channel Ventures (M) Sdn Bhd, said those selected included Jalaluddin Hassan, Shaharuddin Thamby, Aman Shah, Tony Eusoff, Dalip Singh, Haflin Saiful (host of Salam Bollywood), Rahim Omar, Yang Kassim, Paul Rizal and Hari Kausar. However, only a few will be fortunate enough to be in scenes that involve Shahrukh Khan. They are Jalaluddin and Tony Eusoff, who play villains in the movie and Haflin Saiful and Paul. The spokesperson said the film needed at least three more actors to play Shahrukh’s bodyguards. Shahruddin will be cast as Malaysia’s top police official, and Dalip Singh as an undercover cop." While on 'Don' , not only was the movie shot at Bombay's chawls , a 3-day shooting took place at Bombay's Film City , earlier this month .
