Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has invested in Maharashtra government's 2.5 MW , windmill power project .

The non-conventional energy , windmill power project is based in the Dhule district of Maharashtra . Announced on 26th February 2004 , the project is on target and investors from within and outside the state are showing keen interest in it .
