K.P. Saxena , whose earthy yet high quality dialogues were one of the highlights of both 'Lagaan' and 'Swades' , has once again been roped in by Ashutosh Gowariker for his Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer 'Akbar-Jodha' .

The 75-year old writer , also famous for his wit and humour (as demonstarted in 'Hulchul), is well informed about the Mughal era and has already written 6 drama on Mumtaz Mahal and Humayun for AIR ( All India Radio) . The writer is well versed in Hindi-Urdu and Sanskrit .
