'Paheli' Is Worth 22 Karat !

However , the company has gone past brand building , and is encashing the popularity of their 'Paheli' designs . They are selling exact replicas of the pieces shown in the movie , at boutiques across town .

Citing just the case of India's capital Delhi , Harman Dhillon , Brand Manager , 'Tanishq' says " The Connaught Place and South Extension 'Tanishq' boutiques are definately selling copies of 'Paheli' jewellery .In fact at South Extension we have got the very items Rani wore in the movie ."

The replicas cost between Rs. 40,000 and Rs.10.5 lakhs , and are in pure 22 karat gold . The trinklets Rani wore , will be amalgamated into a 'collectors edition' that will retail at a premium . shortly . These pieces are a mix of 18 karat and 22 karat purity .

All the pieces have been visualised by 'Tanishq' designer . Tushita Kurien . The entire line features 'kundan' and 'meenakari' workmanship , extensively .
