Shah Rukh Khan Gives The Biggest Money Spinners Of 2007

Bollywood's global superstar, Shah Rukh Khan ruled the hearts in 2007. His 'Chak De! India' may have started slow but it gained momentum with great word of mouth to become the biggest hit of the of the year (based on return on original investment) netting a huge 65 crores from India. People repeated the film more than any other film in 2007.

However, the audience in the Overseas circuit didn't fancy the film too much. But they showed how much they love Shah Rukh Khan by patronising his next and only other release of the year, 'Om Shanti Om'.

Also produced by him, 'Om Shanti Om' became the topmost Bollywood grosser of 2007 in the Overseas circuit. Netting nearly 86 crores from India, it also achieved the distinction of accumulating the highest total ever for a Hindi film.
