London, Jan 20 (PTI) Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for allegedly slapping a gossip columnist in a Soho nightclub after she called Osbourne's 19-year-old fiance, Luke Worral, stupid, the Daily Mail reported. Onlookers at the nightclub reported that the 24 year old Osbourne was enraged after gossip columnist Zoe Griffin taunted her by saying that Worral did not know what an earthquake was.

Griffin said, "Kelly shouted loudly in my ear, 'I have an issue with you. Everyone has been laughing at my boyfriend.' Then I felt a hard slap." The incident had occurred in the Punk nightclub in August and Osbourne has been arrested earlier this month.

A spokesman for Soho police said, "We can confirm a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police by appointment on January 2.

"She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of 29 August 2008. She has been bailed until a date in March."
