No passport for Shahrukh

In this bizarre situation, the producers have been left perplexed as to what can be done, when the festival is barely a few weeks away. They have even taken this matter to the Ministry of External Affairs and the Regional Passport officer, to obtain a new passport for Shahrukh. Even the authorities, it seems, are breaking their heads to find a way to get the performer a passport, at the earliest. However, why Shahrukh is being denied a passport, remains a mystery.

The actor is dejected, as his movie promotion might get affected in the process. It has been reported that the film will be a first-of-its-kind for Shahrukh as the lead protagonist, where he will star in a never-seen-before avatar. The movie will see Shahrukh portraying a complex role, in a subtle manner. The actor, who is now baffled with the glitches that are getting in the way of him promoting his film, holds the film very close to his heart.

Shahrukh was unavailable for comment. He is currently in Chennai enjoying the fruits of lush greenery, while the producers are caught in a nail-biting situation. An insider revealed, “Both, the producers and Shahrukh, are confident about the film, but the only thing that’s been puzzling them is the passport issue. Shahrukh is a superstar, and more so in the film. Him being denied a passport, is preposterous.”
