Malaysia´s Melaka Province Happy At Datuk Shah Rukh Khan Returning As ´Don´
- Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant           Let us know what you think about this story

A few months back we had informed our patrons that Malaysia was waiting for Datuk Shah Rukh Khan to film the sequel of his 2006 hit 'Don'. It was when SRK had started shooting 'Don 2' in Germany's Berlin.

As may be recalled 'Don' was extensively shot in and around Malaysia and so SRK's fans in the country were quite hopeful of the sequel returning to Truly Asia Malaysia.

Not only that, bestowed a "Datukship" by the Melaka State Government during his last visit to Melaka in Dec 2008, SRK had promised to return to the historic city. In fact upon reaching Melaka the first thing that King Khan said was, "Yes, I promised the last time to be back here and shoot a movie and I am now here."

Shah Rukh said the new film will be more slick and technically savvy as compared with the first one ('Don').

"This is an action movie like 'The James Bond' or 'Bourne Identity' genre which will appeal to boys rather than girls," said SRK who wore a white t-shirt and bright orange pant, with an unfamiliar pony tail hair to suit his character in the film.

When we contacted a few of our friends in University of Technical Malaysia Melaka, they told us that SRK's fan following had more than doubled after his latest shooting stint!
