“The music of 'Thank You' has been very well received by T Series and we are quite satisfied with the response,” said Siddharth Roy Kapur. The UTV head honcho was reacting to malicious rumours that the music of their latest comedy caper, 'Thank You' was alleged to have not been promoted well by T-Series which has the film’s music rights, due to late delivery of the master tapes by UTV. The film directed by Anees Bazmee stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitly, Irrfan Khan, Rimi Sen and Mallika Sherawat.
“We have had a long and fruitful relationship with T-Series. The reports about any acrimony between us are completely baseless and mischievous and is a move to sabotage our film. Some vested interests are trying to create a misunderstanding. I want to make it clear that we have and will always share a very warm business relationship with T Series and all payments of 'Thank You' have been received,” added Siddharth Roy Kapur.
