Direct Flight To Philippines, Manila Ready To Woo Indian Tourists & Bollywood
- Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant           Let us know what you think about this story

It was way back in 2007 that Manila, the capital city of Phillipines had invited a delegation from Bollywood to explore the shooting possibilities at the innumerable locales. However nothing really materialised.

Just last year director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani were all set to shoot the sequel to 'Don' titled 'Don 2' in Philippines. Unfortunately things did not work out and Germany and Malaysia became the chosen one.

Thankfully, it is all about to change with Philipine Airlines all set to have direct flights from India to Phillippines from next week (27th March). The absense of this facility was one of the prime reasons for less tourists to Manila and also Bollywood keeping away.

Here's hoping for Phillippines to be the next hot South East Asian destinations for Indians after Bangkok, Thailand!
