When we had recently met the 'Socha Na Tha', 'Jab We Met' and 'Love Aaj Kal' director, the super talented, Imtiaz Ali, he had told us that once again the project, tentatively titles 'Rockstar', would be produced by Ashtavinayak (just like 'Jab We Met'). And now there is news that Eros International Media Ltd has signed a co-production deal with Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision to jointly produce Ranbir Kapoor starrer.

Imtiaz had also told us that he had not signed Katrina Kaif or for that matter any heroine officially. The situation remains the same although names of Genelia D'Souza and Anushka Sharma are making the rounds.
