Much has been written about Kareena Kapoor having been paid many many crores (4, 5 and even 7 crore!) for Rohit Shetty's 'Golmaal 3'.

However the media reports speculating on her 'all time high' fee are nothing but nonsense. The fact is that Kareena had signed a three film deal with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., and 'Golmaal 3' is the third and last film of that deal.

As per reliable trade sources, Kareena has already acted in two projects of Shree Ashtavinayak, viz. 'Jab We Met' and 'Golmaal Returns'. And also her remuneration for 'Golmaal 3' is nothing more than what was agreed upon with the producers years ago.

So much for the media hype and PR work for God knows how many crores!

While still on 'Golmaal 3', the film is expected to commence before the month ends and release this 'Diwali'.
