Emerald Isle Sri Lanka Honours Veteran Composer Ravi!

Veteran music composer Ravi was honoured recently in capital of Emerald Isle Sri Lanka's capital Colombo by the country's prime minister, Ratansiri Wickrama Nayaje, for his contribution to the music world.

The 83-year old music director has scored for many films in is illustrious 40-year career, including 'Vachan', 'Gumraah', 'Waqt', 'Humraaz', 'aadmi Aur Insan', 'Neelkamal', 'Dus Lakh', 'Ek Phool Do Mali' and 'Nikaah'. He also composed for around 20 Malyalam films and has received three National Awards.
