It was a treat at the 14th Annual Wharton India Economic Forum where prominent personalities from India were present— Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan was one of the panellists for discussion from India.
“It was the 14th Annual Wharton India Economic Forum. WIEF is an annual India-centric conference hosted by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Since its inception 13 years ago, WIEF has been the leading business forum focused on India in the United States. The theme for this year’s conference was India: Breaking Boundaries and the focus was on bringing together prominent personalities and leaders to discuss how India continues to position itself to compete and succeed in the rapidly changing global environment.” says a representative of the Sarod maestro. “He also spoke about classical music and how young people need to be lured to practice the art. The students were very inquisitive even after the lecture was over and many of them met him personally with queries,”
