"Shor In The City" Soundtrack Impresses Music Lovers In The First Week Of Release!

The soundtrack of ‘Shor In The City’ is making just as much noise as the film. The tracks, jointly created by Balaji and Sony Music India, are already racing their way up the charts. The romantic ballad ‘Saibo’ and the racy and infectious ‘Karma Is A Bitch’ have already hit the chartbusters becoming #3 and #10 on radio respectively within a week of launch (Source: AirCheck).

Additionally, ‘Saibo’ has become the hottest and most recommended track on the Nokia OVI store and In.com.

Said Producer Ekta Kapoor, “This is a Mumbai-based black comedy that every Indian will be able to relate to. We were keen to give it a different sound and waited till the completion of the film to work on its music. The tie-up worked well, and we’re delighted to have a hit album in a record short span!”

Remarked Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director Sony Music India, “Shor was an exciting project to work on. We have an extremely diverse soundtrack on hand, and are pleased that it has found such widespread appreciation.”

To increase the noise, a music concert is being held at the Inorbit Mall on 16th April, 6pm. Sensational music duo Sachin and Jigar, with the cast comprising Tusshar Kapoor, Preeti Desai, Nikhil Dewedi, Sundeep Kishan and Pitobash Tripathi, will attend.
