Mumbai, Jun 3 (PTI) With comedy ruling the roost on both the small and silver screen, noted comedian Suresh Menon is planning to come out with a 24-hour comedy channel to leave the audience in splits. "I have been meeting different people involved in this field for starting a comedy channel. Let's see how my 15 years of experience on television can be used. I shall be able to make a definite announcement in two months," Menon told PTI here. Though some comedy shows are currently on air, there is still a lot of space for comedy on television and the content is doing well and is getting better day by day, he felt.
Asked about his film career, he said he had no regrets of doing 'Krazzy4' where he had no dialogues. "I know a lot of people were disappointed. But it was a different kind of character. I liked my cute boy role which could strike a chord with the children," the funster said. Menon did not agree that his talent and potential has not been tapped effectively on big screen. "I had pivotal roles in 'Badhai ho Badhai' and 'Deewane Hue Pagal'. But, since the films did not do well, it went unnoticed," he said.
