 Forget the earlier no shows, it’s her year now. Suddenly posters with actress Priyanka Chopra seem to be plastered all over town. And as if that were not enough, open any magazine or tabloid, she’s in interview mode. So despite the negatives, 2008 is her year!“I can’t dwell on the past. I have to move on,” she says about her past choices. “Look I am proud of the films I signed up for. I don’t do films only for money; for that there are ad films. This is about creativity. I love doing different films because I tend to get bored with similar roles. Of course when things don’t work out it hurts like mad. This is a demanding job and, after so much hard work, not getting the desired results is tough. But one has to move on and concentrate on the next film,” said Chopra.
In an industry where competition is rife, Chopra says that she does not mind competition, “I enjoy the challenges and, right now, am looking forward to my next two big releases.” Well if these two hit the jackpot, Chopra’s smiling face will be staring out of every billboard.
