As luck would have it, the first day of shooting for Vinod Khanna was actually for a night shift. Since the sequence with Vinod Khanna and Salman Khan needed to be picturised in a shopping mall in Hyderabad, it was possible only after the mall was shut . And so, shooting commenced around midnight and wound up only at 4 O’clock the next morning.

Since Vinod Khanna was needed for only a day’s shooting in the ongoing lengthy schedule, the star-MP was scheduled to fly from Hyderabad to New Delhi, early next morning. Fearing that he wouldn’t be able to wake up in time for the flight if he slept at 4a.m., Vinod Khanna did not retire to bed after pack-up. Giving him company were Boney , Salman and other members of the unit.

However, thick fog led to the Delhi-bound flight being delayed!

Incidentally, Vinod Khanna plays a very important role in the film, one that was played by Nasser in the Tamil and Telugu versions.
