As is well known, Shankar of South blockbuster 'Sivaji The Boss' fame had offered his Hindi venture 'Robot' to Shah Rukh Khan , but the project failed to materialise because of creative differences between the two.

While Shankar is still to decide on his future plans regarding the same, a section of the media went ahead and decided to cast Aamir Khan in 'Shankar'. The scoop was obviously an imagination of some fertile mind!

On his part the new star director has categorically denied that he was ever offered the part.

Hopefully, this should put to rest all speculative journalism.
